2001

Brambleton opens for new home sales. The U.S. Postal Services recognizes Brambleton as its own town.

2002

The first residents move into Brambleton.

2003

The Brambleton Visitor Center opens.

Brambleton wins its first Finest for Family Living award.

2004

Brambleton converts to Verizon FiOS.

Harris Teeter, Briar Woods High and Legacy Elementary all open.

2006

New Brambleton Town Center tenants continue to open.

Brambleton’s movie theater opens, June 22.

2008

Sizzlin’ Summer Concerts begin.

The Brambleton Builder Showcase & Welcome Center relocates to the Town Center.

2009

Brambleton is recognized as Community of the Year, for the 4th year in a row.

2010

Sport & Health Club opens.

In 2010 Brambleton is ranked as the 8th top-selling community in the nation.

2011

Brambleton celebrates 10-year anniversary and September 24th is officially proclaimed as “Brambleton Day.”

Brambleton is ranked as the 6th top-selling community in the nation in 2011, finishing the year with 454 new home sales.

2012

The Road Runners Club of America designates Brambleton a Runner-Friendly Community.

Brambleton Community Associations holds first annual Brambleton Kids’ Triathlon. Brambleton builders partner with Verizon to offer Home Monitoring & Control Service in new homes.
